Now Hiring - Leasing Consultant in Akron, OH

Summary: The Leasing Consultant and Administrator will handle all property management services for Green Harvest Capital properties.

Essential Duties

• Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
• Assist in daily operations and management.
• Consults with prospective tenants to identify requirements and budgets, then matches these needs with available properties.
• Ensure available and model apartments are fresh and tidy.
• Conduct background and credit checks and verify other references as directed by Leasing Manager.
• Prepare leases for review and approval; obtain signatures from management and tenants.
• Coordinate move-in dates, materials, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Tour the property daily to ensure neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.
• Manage shared facilities such as fitness and recreation, laundry, and meeting or gathering spaces.
• Prepare move-in materials.
• Act as a Project Manager for special projects.
• Work on measurement and performance of GHC properties via AppFolio.
• Focus on leadership goals to be determined during budget meetings.
• Assist with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
• Create, develop, and maintain a list of promotions and discounts.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract renters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Real estate license preferred.
